Jianxin Wu is a photographer and biji practitioner whose lived experience shapes the authority of his work. Trained by Cultural Revolution–era scholars and later by military discipline, his practice is grounded in precision and interior resilience. Working between China and the United States, he uses photography and biji to navigate censorship and reveal conditions of selfhood.
